The story.
Urban Living began in a small shed in Hilton with a single bench, a hand plane, and a brief for a dining table. Twelve years on the workshop is bigger, the bench longer, the brief list deeper, but the method has not moved. One piece at a time, signed by the maker.
We work with families who plan to keep their furniture for a lifetime. Every piece in the catalogue is built to order in the workshop, in the timber and finish you choose.
Materials philosophy
Four materials, used honestly.
We do not chase trends. Solid timber, hand-finished leather, a little brass for hardware where it earns its place. Veneers are used only on doors and panels, never as a finish standing in for solid wood.
